I’ve been dabbling in the idea of offering lifestyle sessions ever since we moved to KC. I asked my sister if she would let me do a cookie session with her family and she kindly obliged. I’ve always loved photographing families, but its the capturing of the season they’re in that is dearest to me. What better way than to do a session in your home where your favorite moments happen?
The photo of Ellie with Everett in front of the oven is just the most Everett and precious thing.
While the cookies baked we snapped some photos of Rachel reading “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” to her little brother by the tree. Then everyone went all out decorating cookies and even some noses.
